What this version actually runs
On your device, and on the server when no Replicate token is set, EnhancerPro uses classical image processing: a high-quality resize, unsharp masking, light contrast, denoise, a tonal stretch, a brightness tint, a flat-color cutout, and a nearby-pixel fill. That is not a neural network.
When REPLICATE_API_TOKEN is set, each cloud tool calls the model named in MODELS.md. Real-ESRGAN is used with face enhancement off. Swin2SR handles denoise, unblur, and soft text. Portrait calls GFPGAN and can change a face. Colorize calls DDColor and invents colors. Background removal calls BiRefNet. Object removal calls LaMa and invents the painted area. Low light and glare stay classical. The result screen says which of those adds detail.
Models we refuse
CodeFormer (non-commercial S-Lab licence), SUPIR (non-commercial), and BRIA RMBG-2.0 (CC BY-NC 4.0) are blocked by name. Do not work around that block. Official Zero-DCE and the SCI repository are not used, because their licences do not clearly allow commercial use. GFPGAN is wired for Portrait only, and MODELS.md records that its Apache-2.0 grant excludes StyleGAN2 and DFDNet components a lawyer still has to read.
How to read a result
The fidelity slider moves from a lighter correction to a harder one. After processing, the page reports the share of pixels that moved past a small threshold. A high number means the filter worked hard. It does not mean new facts appeared.
Look at the result at 100% before you publish it. Halos, waxy skin, and crunchy edges are defects, not extra quality.
Content Credentials
Outputs are not C2PA-signed in this version. Do not label them as Content Credentials or as cryptographically provenance-backed. Signing with a manifest that names the action and the model is planned, and it should ship before any marketing claim about provenance.
Limits you should repeat to users
Enhancement cannot recover a licence plate, a blurred face, or a document well enough to treat the output as evidence. Say so near the tool, which this site does.
EnhancerPro is a product prepared for Nimbuly Apps. The legal entity name, registered address, company number, and governing law are intentionally blank until the owner fills them in. Do not describe a company that has not been formed.
